PRESTIGE CONCERT & CHEESE AND WINE FUNCTION

PROCESS:

During the adjudication process of the festival, the adjudicator secretaries has lists of all performing candidates during the festival in the various categories.  Everything is stipulated in detail.   Secretaries fill in all results as awarded by the adjudicators next to each candidate’s name.  In each category, adjudicators indicate their choice of candidates that could be invited to perform at this prestigious concert.  At the end of the festival, these lists are handed to the Organizer who then appoint a committee whom are all part of the organisational process of the festival.   This committee then compile the official program of the concert.   Candidates are invited according to:

  • the length of the program
  • showcase the variety of categories and by so doing to showcase the entire platform of the festival
  • give an accurate practical account of the high standards maintained by this festival
  • Inspire other candidates to achieve the same standard and to motivate non-contestants to showcase their God-given talents.

The selection process is further monitored by the festival director who constantly monitor the overall standard of the festival by constant visits to the various venues, personal conversations with adjudicators, secretaries, teachers, parents, candidates etc.  The selection process is therefore honest, fair and transparent.  This process is endorsed by teachers and trainers as we consult (during the selection process) with teachers in order to provide a realistic and transparent program to the public.  Not all medal winners and/or holders of gold diplomas can be invited to this prestige concert.  Only the most outstanding candidates per category/session are normally invited (after a thorough sifting and consulting-process) to perform at this concert.

GUESTS OF HONOR
